Feb. 19--A Sacramento man is behind bars, after police say he attacked them and then threatened there was a bomb.

Cops say the attack happened after the man, 25-year-old Hassan Peguese had locked himself in the Woman's bathroom at the Amtrak station on I Street and 4th Street.

Police initially responded to the train station after getting a call from a witness, reporting there was a "suspicious man" locked inside the bathroom.

Peguese eventually came out of the bathroom, but not peacefully. Officers say as they were trying to arrest him, he assaulted them. One officer said he had a sprained wrist and fingers after struggling with him.

He also told security officers at the station there was a bomb in the bathroom.

Peguese faces charges of battery against a police officer, false report of planting a bomb, and trespassing.

His bail is set at $50,000.
