We coined this term to accurately describe the Fury's capability. Although the Fury's gene pool harkens back to sugar cane and brush clearing machetes, its modern re-engineering puts it in the class of the perfect everyday tool and personal protection.

Most production machetes are made from .089" - .125" thick spring steel, but DoubleStar went instead with .285" thick S7 tool steel. This steel gives the Fury's blade a high impact toughness and resistance to shock load. Heavy enough for light breaching but still lightweight enough at 1 lb. 12 oz. to be comfortably carried on your person. Measuring just 18.25" long, the Fury gives you reach while still being useful in close quarter situations. MSRP of the Fury is $499.99.
