FreedomView LED Fiberscope, featuring a high-output LED light source, has been launched by Optim. The next generation fiberscope incorporates a LED light source into the handle, providing the officer with a lightweight, cable-free, highly mobile visual inspection tool. The LED light source offers superior resolution, enabling users to see inside gas tanks, concealed areas and behind closed doors. Because the scope can be operated by a rechargeable 3-watt lithium ion battery, 110-volt wall plug-in adapter or 12-volt car plug-in adapter, it is ideal for use either on-site or at the workbench. The distal tip articulation and light intensity controls also are part of the ergonomically designed handle, for maximum efficiency. This unit is video and digital camera compatible and has a full line of accessories, including AC wall plug, DC car plug, insertion tube and a right-angle side viewing attachment.
