EnGarde Announces New Panel Design

EnGarde is proud to present a highly improved soft ballistic panel shape suitable for all its body armor products.
 
For twelve years we have kept the shape of our ballistic panels basically the same. Although the classic shape has offered our customers worldwide a superb level of protection we decided that we wanted to take a fresh look at the panel shape and use input and recommendations from our clients and engineering team on a newer design.
 
In combination with our EnGarde team we brought in the fresh and independent assistance of external ballistic panel design experts who worked on FBI and US law enforcement panel designs. That collaboration has produced a groundbreaking new panel design that is ideal for both concealable and tactical body armor applications.
 
The new ballistic panel shape will gradually replace the previous ballistic panel shape during 2016 for a select number of our body armor models. Clients can be assured that we will maintain a stock of the classic carrier shapes for customers with legacy products.
 
The new ballistic shape will first be introduced for our MT-PRO™ ballistic panel series.

Below is an overview of the most exciting new features we’re introducing in our panels:
 
- New front panel shape allows getting into an active firing position faster and easier
 
- A longer back panel allows for increased coverage of the lower back area
 
- Ergonomically improved panel shape results in tailored fit and increased maneuverability
 
- Design works equally well in concealed and tactical body armor applications
 
- New design improves cool wear comfort
