A dozen Kansas City police officers had to swallow their pride as firefighters rescued them from a tight spot.
Kansas City Firefighter Tim Dupin posted a photo on Facebook showing the crew come to the aid of the 12 stranded officers after an elevator malfunctioned inside the police academy.
While none of the officers were injured in the incident, there were plenty of brusied egos.
"We had a lot of fun with them and we made sure everything happened safely and we did it all the way it's supposed to be done," Firefighter Tony Pisciotta told WDAF-TV. "They were good sports about it and we threw our jabs. It was cool."
