The Swiss weapons manufacturer B&T has won the tender of the Department of Homeland Security of the United States of America for delivery of non-lethal launchers with its model GL-06. The devices are used for border protection.
The B&T GL06 launcher is issued after being extensively tested in many countries around the world (Spain, France, Portugal, Andorra, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, South Africa and South Korea).The GL06 launcher, in conjunction with the SIR (Safe Impact Round) ammunition, also offered by B & T, is ideal for peacekeeping. Due to the high precision and the very effective ammunition, which is tuned to minimize the risk of injury to violent demonstrators, the police can use the weapon safely and effectively.
