The Strion HPL is a rechargeable high lumen, long-range professional flashlight with an ultra-bright hotspot for illuminating a broader area on targets. Ideal for a wide variety of tactical maneuvers such as search operations and room clearing, it delivers a blinding hotspot over long distances to provide maximum illumination on targets downrange. While other beam patterns light up a target’s head and shoulders, the Strion HPL beam lights up the target’s entire upper torso at a distance of up to 400 meters, providing a clear tactical advantage.
The compact new Strion HPL offers high, medium and low microprocessor-controlled variable intensity modes, plus a strobe function. On the high setting, it delivers 615 lumens and 40,000 candela, with a one-hour run time. On low, it offers 160 lumens, 10,000 candela and a run time of 3 hours and 45 minutes.
The Strion HPL features the latest in C4® LED technology and a deep-dish parabolic reflector that produces a long range beam with optimal peripheral illumination. The light is powered by a lithium ion battery that is rechargeable up to 1,000 times. The battery fully recharges in three hours in the product; a charge base LED indicator remains steady when charging and blinks when fully charged.
The light’s casing is fabricated from 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish. The new model also features a multi-function, push-button tactical tail switch that provides one-handed operation of the momentary, variable intensity, and strobe modes.
The Strion HPL measures 7 inches long, and weighs 7.1 ounces. It is IPX4-rated for water-resistant operation, and is impact resistance tested to 2 meters.
