The 590S had the smoothest action ever for a Mossberg pump gun, and everyone on our testing team swears by Mossberg shotguns. We ran different sized shells out of this gun in several combinations. We could not cause it to jam, even with Lindsey's homemade slugs.
The 590S is the perfect candidate for 1.75” shells, which work well in law enforcement applications.
