Kel-Tec CNC Industries, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of SUB-2000 rifles because of a heat treatment issue that could potentially cause the barrel to rupture when a cartridge is fired and could result in serious personal injury. The SUB-2000 rifles affected by this recall are a select number that were manufactured in 2017. The recall is the first in the company’s 27-year history.
If your SUB-2000 was purchased in 2017 or 2018, do not load or fire it.
