DoubleStar to Exhibit at 2019 Triggrcon

July 23, 2019
DoubleStar returns for a second time to display its many firearms at the 2019 Triggrcon, July 23 – 27, 2019 in Bellevue, Washington.

DoubleStar will be featuring its new .308 powered STAR10-P, designed with the power one needs to stop wild game from destroying property or an advancing enemy. Built with the same billet upper and lower as the original STAR10 rifle, the STAR10-P puts that power in a very manageable package. With features like the Strongarm Pistol brace and Stronghold Pistol Grip, the STAR10-P takes AR Pistols to the next level. The Stronghold Pistol Grip with G10 panels is a patent-pending innovative design utilizing a lightweight, anodized aluminum frame and customizable textured G10 grip panels. The high-quality US-made G10 panels round out the package with rugged style. The Stronghold G10 panels ensure the shooter won’t drop his or her weapon when conditions are slippery.

MLOK is a great platform for mounting any accessory while keeping weight down and a low profile on your weapon’s handguard. The problem shooter’s face is what to do with the real estate that’s left uncovered, slick, and swayed by extreme temperatures. DoubleStar has the solution with its Stronghold G10 MLOK Panels. Weighing in at 0.5 ounces per panel with mounting hardware and a length of 3.25 inches, these panels are CNC machined from the highest quality G10 to provide a textured surface on any MLOK handguard.

Included at DoubleStar Booth 437, attendees will be able to get their hands on other American made rifles, such as DoubleStar’s ZERO Carbine Rifle. The ZERO delivers lead through a premium 16” 1-in-8-inch twist Wilson Air Gauged heavy barrel providing the perfect mix of superb accuracy and maneuverability. The ZERO is a purpose-built AR15 that has found the sweet spot between accuracy, weight, and durability, making it a smart choice as a go-to rifle.

For 1911 lovers, DoubleStar will have available its CS2 1911 and PhD 1911. The C series of 1911 pistols are truly in the class of elite firearms. Each of the world-class components are meticulously hand-fitted over the course of eight hours to ensure it will bring a smile to its owner’s face every time it is picked up. With features such as a forged frame, Wilson Combat “Bulletproof” forged hammer, sear, and disconnector along with the Storm Lake stainless steel barrels and Greider Precision V-Series match triggers, the trips to the range will prove why the CS2 has earned its place among the best in the world.

The PhD was designed to be an affordable, custom pistol with the attributes of a more expensive model. Starting with a standard government frame, DoubleStar’s pistol smith spends at least four hours building and fitting each component of the PhD to ensure the perfect fit and highest quality. The slide features some of the most aggressive cocking serrations to give the operator a secure grip even in wet or less-than-desirable conditions. Internally, the PhD mirrors many parts of DoubleStar’s top-of-the-line C Series 1911’s, including the Storm Lake stainless match barrels and the Ed Brown Tactical Grip Safety. The beautiful blend of forged cylinder and slide internals and Greider Precision V-Series Match triggers give the PhD the smooth, crisp trigger one expects in a premium 1911 at a much lower cost.

DoubleStar will also have on hand its latest offering from its Blade Division, the Ahab Knife. Made from 1084 Carbon Steel, is an everyday carry designed by Blade Division Director Rob “Filo” Cabrera to be discrete and compact without sacrificing relevance. Elements like the oversized ring and precision thumb break provide the best amount of retention for quick deployment. The Ahab’s strong, lightweight construction makes it the perfect duty belt utility that will be there when you need it most. An oversized ring allows for gloved deployment, while a swedged spine at the point provides for better penetration. The Ahab knife has precision jimping for proper thumb braking and screwed handle hardware for easy maintenance. Equipped with versatile eyelet locations, they provide adaptability to other attachment systems. It is PVD coated for a clean, sharp, durable finish. The Brimstone Folder Knife is also available in a new color, OD on Satin, and will be accessible for viewing at DoubleStar’s booth.

“We are thrilled to bring DoubleStar back to Triggrcon this year and meet with the Patriots from the Northwest once more,” Nick Collier, Director of Special Operations, commented.

Triggrcon showcases the newest, most innovative companies and products in the tactical firearms industry. The conference builds on existing relationships while fostering new partnerships. Media and industry attendees will experience a coordinated effort of manufacturers not seen at other shows while firearms enthusiasts will have a gateway into a show that is normally only offered to industry professionals.

DoubleStar will have several products for sale at Triggrcon, including the new Stronghold Pistol Grips, M-LOK G10 panels, the Cloak 15.5” handguard, Strongarm Pistol Brace Assemblies, and several of its knives, including the new Ahab-X.
