CLEVELAND — A U.S. marshals task force officer was shot Wednesday while serving an arrest warrant in the city’s Glenville neighborhood, according to three law enforcement sources.

The officer was shot in the arm and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the sources.

The shooting happened about 8:45 a.m. at an apartment building on East 91st Street and Stewart Avenue, north of St. Clair Avenue.

The suspected shooter barricaded himself inside building after the shooting, the sources said. It’s unclear if an arrest has been made.

Cleveland police officials have not yet responded to calls or emails about the shooting.
