SONORA, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say three people were killed and another seriously injured in a shooting on a rural road about 50 miles south of Louisville.

Trooper Norman Chaffins at the Elizabethtown post says troopers got a call at 11:33 a.m. CST Tuesday about a shooting, then found the bodies. Chaffins said a woman survived and was being taken to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Chaffins said the bodies were found near the Hardin-Larue county line close to the town of Sonora, just off Interstate 65.

Chaffins did not have information on the three people who were killed and there was no search under way for a shooter.
