SIS pistols feature an elegant gray KimPro II durable, self-lubricating premium finish. Standar features include SIS-pattern slide serrations, SIS Night Sight with cocking shoulder for one-handed cocking, and lightweight SIS Hammer for reduced lock time and increased accuracy. Slides and frames are machined from stainless steel and logo grips have a special smooth/stippled pattern. Barrels, chambers and trigger groups are all match grade. Kimber manufactures four models of SIS pistols: The SIS Custom is a full size 1911 with a 5-inch barrel and standard frame; The SIS Custom RL features an integral Picatinny rail for light mounting; The SIS Pro has a four-inch bushingless bull barrel, making it easier to conceal; and the SIS Ultra has a three-inch bushingless bull barrel, abbreviated grip and rounded butt - making it ideal for concealed carry or backup.
