COCOA, FL, JUNE 24, 2022 – The KelTec™ P50™ pistol has been named the 2022 American Rifleman Golden Bullseye Tactical Gun of the Year. A formal presentation of the award was made at the 2022 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Houston, TX on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Now in their 20th year, the editors of the American Rifleman, American Hunter and Shooting Illustrated magazines acknowledge the finest products available in the shooting sports.

The winners are selected by a seven-member committee consisting of editors, graphic designers and veteran staff members of the three publications, representing more than a century of collective experience in the shooting and hunting industry.
To qualify for a Golden Bullseye Award, a product must have been a) recently introduced and available to consumers prior to the selection of the Golden Bullseye Awards; b) used and tested by a staff member or regular contributor to the magazine and/or affiliated media; c) reliable in the field,
meeting or exceeding the evaluator’s expectations; d) innovative in design and function; e) readily perceived as a value to the purchaser; and f) styled in a manner befitting the shooting and hunting industry and, perhaps more importantly, its enthusiasts.
The unique KelTec P50 semi-automatic pistol features a top-mounted, double-stack magazine offering a 50+1 capacity of 5.7 mm ammunition. An ambidextrous safety and picatinny rail for mounting sights, optics or choice of accessories are also featured. Total weight is but 3.2 pounds, contributing to control and easy carrying. The operation is a straight blowback system with a 5-pound trigger pull. Overall length is 15 inches with a barrel length of 9.6 inches. The rifling has a 1:14 twist. Width is 2 inches and height 6.7 inches.
