LaserMax was chosen for the U.S. Marshal's GLOCK Model 22 and 40 S'W for its ruggedness, reliability and features, including guaranteed alignment accuracy and pulsating beam. The pulsating beam provides for rapid target acquisition under stress. LaserMax gun sights can be installed by the user in a matter of minutes no smithing is needed. The LaserMax laser is compatible with all tactical lights and grips, and does not require special holsters or alterations. Laser activation is consistent with firearms safety, and point-of-aim versus point-of-impact is more consistent over distance.
