Combining versatility with functionality, Brownells'® new AR-15/M16 carry handle scope bases offers AR-15/M16 shooters the opportunity to mount a scope while maintaining the ability to use the rifle's fixed sights. Available in Weaver and Picatinny model, base mounts quickly and easily by screwing directly into the carry handle. Once secured, shooters can have the confidence that their scope will maintain its accuracy after thousands of rounds. Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum, both models feature a crossbar support for added strength and durability. The Weaver model (stock #702-000-002) features eight cross-slots and accepts Weaver-style rings. With a Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny cut along its entire length, the Picatinny model (stock #702-000-003) is able to accept both Weaver and Picatinny rings. The AR-15/M16 carry handle base and handguard alignment tool are just two of many recent additions to the Brownells line of products for military and law enforcement applications.
