The Mini-Scout-Mount 870 from Amega Mounts is extruded and machined to exact tolerances to BOLT ON a Remington 870 shotgun barrel in minutes with NO MODIFICATIONS. With this simple upgrade, your trusty Remington 870 can now accept all modern red dot sight systems and comes with multiple mounting points for adding Tactical Light Mount Kits and a Tactical Sling Mount Kit.
Finished in flat black-anodized, the Mini-Scout-Mount 870 protects the barrel from damage during entries or exits, and the hands during sustained firing. The sighting groove design allows use of tactical iron sights (when optics are not mounted), and serves as an effective open sight for bead equipped barrels. Because the mount attaches ONLY to the barrel, removing it for cleaning will NOT affect the zero of any sight systems installed on the Mini-Scout-Mount 870, even when reinstalled on a different receiver.
