Streamlight has introduced remote switches and a key kit for its TLR-1 and TLR-2 rail-mountable LED tactical lights. These accessories make it possible to fit the lights to fit a wider variety of weapons, with greater flexibility of light placement on the weapon itself. The TLR remote switches are available in three different configurations, including: shotgun coil remote switch where the coiled wire allows for cord expansion when mounted on a pump-action shotgun; long gun remote switch, which attaches to railed long gun forend with clips and has an 8-inch straight wire for precise, snag-free wire routing; and the remote tape switch that easily attaches to most right-angle grips or other aftermarket accessories, and has the same straight, 8-inch wire for snag-free wire routing.
