From DeSantis Holster, the Chek-Mate is a plain clothes holster developed with the law enforcement officer in mind. The Redi-Lok feature allows the user to access his weapon using only gross motor skills. There is no fumbling with middle fingers or sweet spots. The SLH (self locking holster) feature provides a natural release point where an officer's thumb must be when establishing a proper shooting grip. This is more instinctual and requires little practice to become comfortable with.
