JACKSONVILLE, FL—Cadre Holdings has agreed to acquire Alien Gear Holsters and certain assets from Tedder Industries for $10.3 million through a court‑supervised bankruptcy auction, the company announced.
The acquisition will add a well‑known holster brand with an established direct‑to‑consumer business to Cadre’s portfolio, which serves law enforcement, first responder, military and nuclear markets, the company said in a news release.
“This transaction represents a compelling opportunity to acquire a recognized holster brand with an established direct‑to‑consumer presence,” Cadre President Brad Williams said in a statement. “Alien Gear brings an experienced team with a customer‑first mindset, and we are excited about the attractive business synergies and growth opportunities ahead.”
Founded in 2014, Alien Gear Holsters manufactures proprietary holsters and gear for consumer, law enforcement, military and security markets. The company is known for its focus on product innovation aimed at improving safety, performance and comfort for everyday firearm carry.
The transaction is subject to bankruptcy court approval, regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Cadre said it expects the deal to close in the second quarter of 2026.
