DGL has been designing leather products since the 1970′s. We became interested in hunting and shooting sports in the 1980′s and competed in IPSC, IDPA and NRA rifle and pistol silhouette matches, and also sporting clay’s.
The leather used in DGL holsters is premium cowhide that comes from Wickett & Craig Tanneries in Curwensville, PA, and have been in business since 1867.
All DGL holsters are set at an anatomically correct angle to assure optimum concealment, and speed and have our legendary molded in retention for security.
The final finish we use on our holsters is an acrylic compound and all DGL holsters are dipped in this compound to completely seal the leather inside and out including the stitching holes. This make for a finish that won’t leave an oil stain on your clothing and has a very high degree of moisture resistance.
