MagBlok Empty Magazine Firearm Training Gun Safety Device

May 13, 2016

MagBlok is a cartridge-shaped device that is inserted into the top of an empty magazine. The specially engineered tool allows two important mechanical functions to be performed when it is properly inserted. First, MagBlok prevents the magazine follower from engaging the slide stop lever. This prevents “slide lock” when training with an empty magazine. Second, a ramp channel on the top of MagBlok allows for the full back-and-forth movement of the slide. With the addition of MagBlok, BarrelBlok now provides a completely safe firearm and magazine, while maintaining the full mechanical functionality of the firearm while training.

New retail packaging will include one (1) BarrelBlok and three (3) MagBlok devices starting Friday, May 13, 2016. With three MagBlok devices in each retail package, users can train with multiple magazines and set up different training scenarios. BarrelBlok will be available online and through select dealers nationwide for $18.99 each. A new online shopping website is also being launched to improve the online shopping experience of customers. BarrelBlok is currently offered in 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP and .357 Sig calibers. A .380 version is in development with an expected release date of midsummer 2016.
