    There are some great options for hunting shotguns this Spring Turkey Season!
    I shot a 6.5 Creedmor Ashbury Precision Ordinance SABER® M700™ with a mounted Crimson Trace CTL-5318. This is a brand-new tactical rifle scope in 3-8x50mm. It has a complex reticle in mils, which is designed for rapid target acquisition. The winds were about 20mph, with 40 mph gusts. This scope had plenty of stadia lines for corrections on the fly. I splashed every target, which were all placed beyond 400 yards. It wasn't my shooting, which was only average. Crimson Trace's Tim O'Connor is an experienced spotter, and guided every shot.

    The Desert Tactical MDR is a flexible compact platform that is ambidextrous, lightweight, and has ergonomic enhancements like forward eject and a non reciprocating bolt handle. It quickly converts to three calibers at the end user level.

    Firearms Instructor Jessica Regalado showed up on the range with several of her own M&P models when we tested the M&P Shield. This gun was compact and had some of the best ergonomics of any compact gun we have tested. We liked it especially for its ability to transition from target to target, and still keep brass in the air.
    I admit the Benjamin Bulldog 357 Airgun (BDBD3S) from Crosman is not really an LE product, but it is definitely an off-duty stress reducer and one of my favorites from the show. The Bulldog 357 is a PCP (Pre Charged Pneumatic) bolt action repeater that can meter 10 shots per fill. It sends a 145-grain Nosler 357 bullet downrange at about 800 fps, enough for some small game. I got to shoot some steel spinners with it and it is quiet. This compact air rifle has authority.
