Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.'s Thermo Scientific Matrix Mobile ARIS Detection System is available in an optional configuration as an integrated, self-contained unit with easily accessible components. The self-contained modular unit, installed in the rear compartment of a standard SUV with minimal basic tools, is designed to allow all of the system's elements to be easily reachable in a specially engineered, slide-out module with pull-out metal drawers. Because the individual components are not bolted into the vehicle, they can be pulled all the way out from the SUV's rear compartment so that users can easily work on the detection elements or simply replace them if necessary. Installation of a single data/control cable and power source is all that is necessary for completing the installation.
