N.C. Police Catch Burglars in Act, Nab One Suspect in Foot Chase

Two suspects were caught burglarizing a home and tried to escape Raleigh police officers by escaping on foot out a back door, dropping items as they fled.
North Carolina police caught two residential burglars in the act Sunday, apprehending one of the suspects after foot chase.
Raleigh police received a call shortly before 1:15 p.m. about a home burglary, WNCN-TV reports. When officers reached the scene, the two suspects escaped out a back door.
As the men fled, they dropped items taken from the house, including electronics and shoes. Eventually, officers caught one of the men, and he was taken into custody.
Police are still searching for the second suspect.
