Teenager With Terminal Illness Receives VIP Tour by NYPD

NYPD officers heard of Jacob Priestley's and his illness and sent him thousands of birthday cards and they also surprised him and his family with a VIP tour around New York City.

Jacob Priestley's only wish was to receive 10,000 birthday cards for comfort. He suffers from mitochondrial disease that causes great pain throughout his fragile body. NYPD officers heard of Jacob and his illness and sent him thousands of birthday cards. They also surprised him and his family with a VIP tour around New York City.
