A Far South Side man faces more than a half dozen felony charges after he allegedly shot a Chicago Police sergeant minutes after shooting a 63-year-old woman in the Pullman neighborhood last weekend.
Treavor Taylor, 26, was arrested after he allegedly shot the woman in the 11300 block of South Indiana Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday, according to CPD. Minutes later, Taylor allegedly shot a CPD sergeant in the leg in the 11200 block of South Corliss Avenue. The sergeant drove himself to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
Taylor was charged with two counts of attempted murder, five counts of aggravated battery and one count of reckless discharge of a firearm. He’s scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday.
