Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Deputy Garry Tate was a last-minute entry in a Dad Bod contest in downtown Wichita.
He was working an off-duty security job at Bloktoberfest in Naftzger Park on Saturday when his boss ordered him to take the stage for the contest.
His dancing skills apparently impressed the judges as well as the cheering crowd.
Tate says he spends a lot of time dancing with his wife and four kids in their living room.
