Newly released body camera video from the Albuquerque Police Department shows a former UFC light heavyweight champion go off on an officer after he was pulled over for allegedly drag racing.

Mixed martial arts fighter Jon Jones was cited late Thursday night on Central Avenue for drag racing, as well as equipment modifications, an issue with his license plate, failure to stay in his lane and exhibition of speed, according to The Albuquerque Journal.

The lapel camera video shows Jones -- in the driver's seat of a Corvette -- in an profanity-laced argument with Officer Jason Brown, who remains composed and professional throughout the exchange.

The officer even tries to use humor to diffuse the situation.

When Jones asks him "How do you sleep at night," the officer replies "Mostly on my left side, sometimes on my back."

Jones repeatedly uses the F-word, calls the officer "despicable" and a "liar" and at one point calls him a "pig."

Jones is scheduled for a traffic arraignment in Metro Court on April 5.
