Police officers in Redding, California were led on a pursuit by a woman in a minivan painted to look like the van from the Scooby Doo cartoon.
Officers spotted the mock "Mystery Machine" Sunday afternoon while searching for 51-year-old Sharon Kay Turman, who was wanted on a probation violation, according to KRCR-TV.
Turman was found operating the 1994 Chrysler minivan painted teal and green in the area of California Street and Shasta Street shortly after the call was made by Shasta County Probation around 12:50 p.m.
When officers attempted to pull her over, they said she took off, triggering a pursuit through South Market Street.
The pursuit came to a stop near Buenaventura and Highway 273, but Turman continued to speed southbound on Highway 273 as she drove through an intersection against a red light and struck four other vehicles.
The pursuit continued before a CHP helicopter spotted the woman abandon the vehicle.
Her current whereabouts are unknown and she is wanted by the Redding Police Department as well as Shasta County Probation.
