Toronto Officer Dyes Hair to Fight Bullying

A Toronto police officer is gaining a lot of positive attention after he dyed his hair in support of the International Day of Pink.

The day, which was started in Nova Scotia when two high school students saw a gay classmate being bullied for wearing pink, celebrates diversity and support of those being bullied by encouraging people around the world to wear pink.

Officer Luke Wilson had his blond hair dyed hot pink, and his colleague Ryan Willmer documented his makeover on Twitter.

Watson showed off his new hairdo when while visiting local schools on Wednesday and pledged to keep it pink for an additional week for every 1,000 retweets the initial post received.

As of Thursday, the post has received 3,600 retweets.
