Florida police saved an elderly man hanging from the roof of a three-story home after he slipped while working Wednesday.

The rescue happened just before 1:30 p.m. when two Tampa police officers responded to a report of a man dangling from a roof, the department stated in a social media post. When Officers Jason Sikoski and Kaleb Girard reached the scene, the raced through the house to get to roof and found an elderly with his legs hanging off the side after he slipped while blowing leafs.

Once on the roof, the officers were able to pull the man to safety. He then was helped to the ground by Tampa firefighters.

“I didn’t mean to cause all this,” the man says in body camera footage.

"That’s what we’re here for, OK?” one officer responded.
