Watch Texas Sheriff's Deputies Help Corral 'Quite Agitated' Bull
June 7, 2023
Body camera footage captured an escaped bull with no respect for law enforcement as Denton County sheriff's deputies worked for three hours to wrangle the animal.
Texas sheriff's deputies had a rough time wrangling an obstinate bull that was loose in a neighborhood over the weekend.
The Denton County Sheriff's Office began receiving calls just before 9 p.m. Saturday about an animal that was wandering through yards in Denton, WFAA-TV reports. When deputies responded, they found a bull had escaped from its owner, who had parked the animal's trailer at a nearby restaurant.
The bull had little respect from law enforcement, however, and wouldn't return to its trailer. Deputies described the animal as "quite agitated," and body camera footage shows their difficulties.
Finally, deputies called in a local rancher, who shot the bull with a tranquilizer dart. The Bull was then safely put into the trailer after three hours.
