Colorado police officers needed to use a battering ram in order to help a young girl whose head was stuck between two railings.

In an online update posted Tuesday, the Boulder Police Department showed body camera video of a call concerning a toddler trapped between two railings at an apartment complex. The footage captured officers using a battering ram to push open the bars and free the girl.

"As kids, we've all done things that seem like a good idea but that we come to regret," the department wrote. "That was the situation here where this toddler accidentally got her head stuck. Thankfully Sgt Marquez & Officer Kyle found a quick & clever way to safely free her."
