The TACARM Ballistic Knee Guard protects law enforcement personnel from pistol rounds and shotgun pellets. It provides military personnel protection from high velocity fragments and projectiles produced by IEDs, hand and rocket-propelled grenades, mortar and artillery rounds. Tested and certified using US National Institute of Justice 0101.04-II and MIL-STD-662F requirements for body armor, the Ballistic Knee Guard is able to stop a .357 pistol round moving at 1,400 feet per second. Additional features of the guards include foam pad increases comfort and blunt force trauma protection. Its unique fastening system combines quick release buckles with hook and loop straps. The pads stay in place and do not slip down the leg. Available in black, olive drab and coyote in each knee pad weighs 13 ounces. The Ballistic Knee Guard is sold as a single unit; users purchase 2 to protect both knees.
