    The Integrated Dismounted Armor System (IDAS) - Tactical, engineered by Med-Eng, protects the extremities against fragmentation and ballistic threats faced by law enforcement officers. Its RIGIFLEX armor plate protection system provides base Level II armor with optional upgrade systems for higher threats. The IDAS is a highly modular and scalable solution, weighing less than 9 pounds for full body configuration, and uses lightweight Mil-Spec mesh to reduce body heat.
