The Police Body Protector (PBP) is the combination of the Police Head and Neck Protector (PHNP) and the Full Body Extension. The Full Body Extension has two NIJ3A ballistic panels, which are joined by a hinge and comes in three sizes.
When opened, the PB™ will provide law enforcement with gunfire protection from head to knees. When folded the PBP provides two layers of NIJ3A protection, sufficient for many higher velocity projectiles to stop some rifle fire. In this folded configuration, the officer's vest will provide the critical 3rd layer of NIJ3A protection, to NIJ3, to stop assault rifle fire if needed. Unique to the PHNP is the ability to connect to the full body extension ballistic shield, with the combination of the two shields called the Police Body Protector PBP. For covert carry an optional carrying case is available.
