ASP has expanded its transitional flashlight category ― tactical lights that fall between the company’s small EDC lights and full-sized duty lights ― with the new T1 DF (Dual Fuel). The T1 is a palm-sized light that’s compact enough to pocket (adjustable/removable clip included), yet it boasts a feature set more commonly found in larger and/or more expensive models:
- Dual fuel, runs off either the included 16340 rechargeable battery, putting out 390 lumens through the Cree XPG LED, or a single CR123A primary cell, delivering 255 lumens
- “Double Tap” feature accesses a low output level (15 lumens) with a quick second tap of the tailcap switch. Tail switch also features 3-way rotary selector with constant-on, intermittent or locked positions
- In-light charging (micro USB adaptor included) with charge status indicator and exclusive safety circuit that prevents delivering current to incorrect or improperly-installed batteries
- Precision machined, hardcoat anodized 6061 T6 aluminum body, machined aluminum reflector, optical glass lens and gold-plated connectors
The T1 is also compatible with the Tactical Light Case (TLC)― ASP’s hands-free, multi-position light holster, available separately.
The new flashlight has an MSRP of $80 (high-performance rechargeable battery included); visit ASP-USA.com/Collections/Transitional/Products/New-T1-DF-Rechargeable for more information.
