SAS R & D Services Inc has released its range of USA manufactured SA32 Faraday Shielding Pouches - these pouches will block all signals capable of reading information from electronic equipment.  Used by police and federal agencies to contain seized cellphones and laptops and block attempts to erase all the data. Also used to protect laptops with sensitive information while in transit.

When people want to keep items with ID chips safe, they often consider an item that is available cheaply and hope it does the job while being unaware of its technical deficiency. Mobile devices are very different. For a Faraday cage to work properly, there must be very high attenuation protection, there can be no seams, no opening where Velcro joins a side seam, no zippers, basically not even a tiny pin hole that the eye cannot see.  No opening anywhere on the shielding pouch.  Only then it can be truly called a FARADAY cage.  The material should be soft and pliable for ease of storage and use.

The SA32 has average shielding performance of 95 dB from 3 MHz through 10 GHz  the SA 32 Blocks all signals capable of reading information from electronic equipment    No hacking, tracking or scanning of secured equipment – no remote erase of the information on the cellphone or laptop.

With the potential airline security requirement that Tablets and cellphones be located in hold baggage this item has special protective properties.
