5.11 Tactical introduces two boot styles: the mid-height Sleet 6 and taller Sleet 8. Ideal for cold weather, the boots feature 5.11's antibacterial and moisture-wicking Drilex lining, plus soft 200G Thinsulate insulation for a -25 degrees Fahrenheit comfort rating. Bloodborne pathogen-resistant Sleet boots feature non-metallic construction, a full-grain polishable leather toe, a 1,200-denier nylon upper and an oil- and slip-resistant, quiet outsole. Each pair incorporates 5.11's Shock Mitigation System, a Phylon comfort mid-sole, an EVA dual-density insole for extra support and cushioning, and a High Performance waterproof/breathable membrane. The Sleet 8 also includes a hidden pocket and convenient side zipper. Sleet boots are available in sizes 4 to 15 with wide widths from 7 to 13.
