NELSONVILLE, Ohio -- Rocky Boots has introduced a series of new and updated tactical footwear models designed for law enforcement officers, military personnel, and first responders, with a focus on reducing weight while maintaining durability and performance in operational environments.
According to the company, the updates span multiple product lines, including patrol-ready duty footwear, military-certified boots, and tactical training shoes. The latest designs emphasize comfort during extended shifts, traction across varied terrain, and construction methods intended to support long-term wear in field conditions.
The updated Super Cop Collection expands with new models and color options, including a Coyote Brown variant in response to agency demand. The line incorporates breathable mesh panels, polishable toes for uniform compliance, and water-resisting leather. The boots are built using Strobel cement construction and include a shock-absorbing midsole and heel stabilizer intended to improve comfort and stability during prolonged use.
Several models in the collection target specific operational needs:
-
The Super Cop Oxford (RKD0143) is a low-profile option designed for lighter duty assignments.
-
The Super Cop 6-inch models (RKD0144, RKD0145) are positioned for patrol officers and deputies requiring flexibility and reduced weight.
-
The Super Cop 8-inch models (RKD0146, RKD0147) provide additional ankle support for extended-duty environments.
Rocky also introduced the Jump Boot Pro, an updated version of its legacy design. The new model removes interior lining to improve breathability and incorporates an oil- and slip-resistant outsole. Additional features include direct-injection construction and optional side-zip access, aimed at improving ease of wear without compromising structural integrity.
For military applications, the company announced several United States Marine Corps–certified models scheduled for release in fall 2026. These include steel toe and soft toe variants of the S2V boot, as well as a hot weather model designed for high-temperature environments. A fourth model, the Havoc (RKC105MC), is currently pending certification. These boots incorporate features such as triple-stitched construction, drainage systems, and high-traction outsoles intended to support mobility and performance in demanding conditions.
The company also updated its tactical training footwear with the reintroduction of the C4T model and redesign of the C7 series. These trainers include slip-resistant traction elements, breathable materials, and lightweight construction intended for agility-focused training and off-duty use.
The product updates reflect ongoing industry demand for lighter, more adaptable footwear that supports officer mobility while maintaining compliance with uniform standards and safety requirements. For law enforcement agencies, footwear selection remains a key consideration in officer wellness, fatigue reduction, and injury prevention during extended deployments.
