Iowa Police Officer, K-9 Injured in Crash

Des Moines Police Officer Dao Meunsaveng and his partner K-9 Bero were driving in the 200 block of Southeast Sixth Street shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday when they were hit nearly head-on by a pickup truck that had crossed over into their lane as they patrolled in the East Village.
