One person was killed and another six injured after a gunman opened fire inside a Chick-fil-A restaurant Saturday night, authorities said.
No arrests have been made.
Dashboard video captured after the shooting shows a gunman running through the parking lot outside the restaurant, located along Route 22 in Union Township.
There was a large police presence late into the night, with videos on social media showing the chaotic flash of emergency vehicles as first responders swarmed.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and six others were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
“While no arrests have been made at this time, the preliminary investigation reveals this does not appear to be a random act of violence and that there is no immediate ongoing threat to the general public,” said Lauren Farinas, a spokeswoman for the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.
Gov. Mikie Sherrill said in a statement she was monitoring the situation.

A man at a nearby restaurant told CBS News New York Saturday night that his girlfriend was working at the store when the incident unfolded. She said a group of men came into the store, went behind the counter and fired multiple shots.
WABC-NY reported that family members of employees were gathered outside after 11 p.m. Saturday. A father of an employee told the outlet that multiple masked men entered the restaurant and several of his son’s co-workers were injured.
The man described the scene as a “warzone,” according to the outlet.
WABC also reported that a Lyft driver in the area said he heard more than seven shots.
Authorities have not yet announced whether anyone has been arrested. Union Police referred inquiries to the prosecutor’s office. A spokesperson for Chick-fil-A’s corporate office declined comment, citing an ongoing investigation.
Sherrill said she was briefed on the shooting, and her administration is in close contact with officials on the ground.
“My thoughts are with those who were injured in the shooting, and with their families,” Sherrill said on Facebook. “I am grateful to our first responders for their swift action and continued efforts to keep the community safe.”
State Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said Union County prosecutors were leading the investigation.
“Our thoughts are with the victims and their families,” Davenport said. “Gun violence has no place in our state, period.”
