Third Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting of New Orleans Officer
A third person has been arrested in the fatal shooting of an off-duty New Orleans police detective.
Khalil Jden Nelson was charged with two counts of capital murder, KPRC-TV reports. The charges stem from the killing of Det. Everett Briscoe, who was shot while visiting a Houston restaurant last month.

Frederick Jackson, 19, and Anthony Jenkins, 21, earlier were charged with capital murder and attempted capital murder in connection with the killing.
