The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the recovery of stolen government property and/or the arrest of those responsible for the destruction and theft of federal property in Minneapolis.
According to the FBI, the incident occurred Jan. 14, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m. in North Minneapolis while FBI personnel were responding to an investigation into an alleged assault on a federal officer. During that response, several government vehicles were vandalized and broken into, and government property was stolen from inside the vehicles.
The FBI is seeking assistance from the public and is asking anyone with photos, video, or other digital footage from the area at the time of the incident to submit the material through its designated tip portal.
Investigators said information may be submitted online at fbi.gov/minneapolisvandalism or through the FBI’s tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI. Officials emphasized that tips may be provided anonymously.
The investigation remains ongoing. No arrests have been announced, and the FBI has not released details about potential suspects or the specific property taken.
