The NYPD has launched an investigation after three police officers took part in a proposal stunt in Queens last week.

Officials said that Shomrim volunteer Yoel Tyrnauer walked into the 101 Precinct in Far Rockaway last Monday and asking for a favor for groom-to-be Yehuda Coriat, according to The New York Post.

Two days later, three on-duty, uniformed officers pulled over Coriat and his now-fiancée, Sorah Oppen, and told them they were performing a gun and drug search.

The officers grilled the couple and demanded the bride-to-be open the trunk of the vehicle, releasing a bunch of balloons.

All three officers are Neighborhood Coordination Officers, whose job is to connect with the community.

"This incident is being reviewed by the NYPD and based on preliminary findings, will be referred to the proper unit for possible disciplinary action," a spokesman told the newspaper.
