Cleveland Officer Collapses, Dies on Duty

    The Cleveland Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own.

    Patrol Officer Marcia Figueroa died Sunday after she collapsed while on duty at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, according to WKYC.com.

    Flags were ordered to half-staff in her honor.

    "We are all truly saddened by her sudden passing. Marcia will be missed," a department spokesperson said.

    The 14-year veteran was on a protective detail for President Barack Obama during a weekend campaign visit when she was stricken.
