Thousands of dollars have been reported stolen from the accounts of the C.H. Evans Ladder Company No. 3, Inc.
In a joint release, Hudson Mayor Bill Hallenbeck, Fire Commissioner Tim Hutching, and Police Commissioner Gary Graziano announced the apparent theft, which is now being investigated by the Hudson Police Department.
Hutchings has suspended three officers with the company, pending an investigation into the missing funds of the incorporated nonprofit organization.
Mayor Hallenbeck stated that no city funds were associated with the theft, and that the money came from the private board funding of C.H. Evans.
