Sept. 21--Tavares police officer Sarah Coursey will be required to get some social media training but will keep her job after admitting to posting a Facebook comment about presidential assassins during a speech earlier this month by President Barack Obama.

Coursey, a road patrol officer who's been with the department about three years, admitted to posting the comment while Obama was giving his presidential nomination acceptance speech during the Democratic National Convention. Coursey told an internal investigator the comment was a "joke."
