GREENWOOD, Ind.
A Greenwood pizza shop owner has been arrested on charges he illegally sold marijuana and alcohol out of his restaurant.
Ricky L. Carter, 51, was arrested Wednesday at Massey's Pizza at 172 Melody Ave. after a five-month investigation by excise police and Greenwood investigators.
After receiving tips of illegal activity in April, undercover officers made several purchases of alcohol and marijuana from Carter at the business, police said.
When investigators searched Massey's Pizza on Wednesday, they found marijuana and alcohol at the business, police said.
Carter was arrested on preliminary charges of maintaining a common nuisance, dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and multiple state alcohol offenses.
